Advice for Parents during Coronavirus
It can be confusing to know what to do when your child is unwell or injured.
Remember that NHS 111, GPs and hospitals are still providing the same safe care that they have always done. For more advice, click on the guide above.
Self-Care is recommended when you have a minor condition which doesn’t normally need medical care (from a doctor or nurse) or any treatment in order to get better. Click on the link above to view our guide to self-care.

The bowel cancer screening test for people aged 60 or over is a kit you use at home.
Breast screening is offered to women aged 50 to their 71st birthday in England.
Cervical screening is offered to all women aged 25 to 64. You will be invited by letter to book an appointment.
If you are between 40 and 74 years of age, and do not already have a pre-existing condition, you will be invited for your free Health Check every 5 years.
