Waters Green Medical Centre

Waters Green Medical Centre is home to all six GP practices in Macclesfield. Whether you’re an existing patient at one of these practices or looking to register, each have a dedicated team of doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. You can find all six practices on the second floor of the centre and their websites are listed below.

Waters Green Medical Centre is also home to a huge range of community healthcare services which is handy if you’re popping into town or visiting one of our surgeries. Many of these need a referral from your GP or nurse and you can find them on the first floor.

Car Parking
If you are a patient or carer coming for an appointment, free 1-hr parking is available. Just enter your car registration plate in to the terminal in the reception area.

The car park entrance is on Boden Street (SK11 6LL for your sat nav). The exit is on Charlotte Street and then Pickford Street.

If you think you might be longer than one hour, please speak to reception when you arrive.

The car park is operated and controlled by Parking Eye. Anyone who uses the car park who isn’t attending the surgery as a patient can be charged.

Blood tests at Waters Green Medical Centre

Please be advised that  all blood tests will be by appointment only.

Vernova Healthcare looks after the blood testing of the six GP practices at Waters Green Medical Centre in Macclesfield. Their friendly team undertake over 40,000 blood tests each and every year.

The service is open from 8am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday on the first floor.

Once the laboratory has processed your blood sample, they will send the results back to your GP or to your hospital doctor (depending on who requested the test).
